About Us
Forerunner Hardwood Floors was founded by Jake Paurus in 2015. What started as a part-time job to make some extra income on the side, blossomed into a passion for the wood flooring industry. Jake’s attention to detail and his commitment to customer service formed the foundation on which Forerunner Floors is built. Jake, his wife Lindy, and 3 children reside in St. Paul where they enjoy hiking, coffee, and painting.

We will work closely with you to select the product and method of installation that is appropriate to your project. The work will be completed by hard-working, experienced craftsmen.
